How To Get Rid Of Gyno

For men, there is virtually nothing more unattractive than gyno, or gynecomastia, as it is scientifically known.

You may know it as man boobs, moobs, or bitch tits, but however you know the condition, one thing we can all agree on, is that it is an unpleasant condition to suffer from.

There are many people out there who are probably wants to find out how to get rid of Gyno, and for very good reason.

Gyno can be caused by a whole variety of different things, though there are some causes which are a great deal more common than others.

Primarily when talking about gyno, it is weight, and steroid usage, which are the two most common culprits.

Knowing what causes gyno is of course half of the battle, but what can you do if you are already unfortunate enough to suffer with gyno?

Well, that is where how to get rid of gyno will come into the mix.

You see, whilst annoying, the good news is that there are ways of getting rid of man boobs and preventing them from returning in the near future.

If you suffer with man boobs, take a look at the following, as we look at what gynecomastia actually is, what causes it, and how you can prevent it and get rid of it once and for all.

What Is Gyno?

Gyno, or gynecomastia, is basically a condition where the body will store fat on and around the pectoral muscles of a man, primarily the nipples.

This can then give the effect of having breasts, and naturally, it can cause a great deal of men to feel very self conscious about their physiques.

In men, breast tissue is present and will grow just like it does in females.

The reason why men don’t have breasts like women, however, is all down to hormones.

Dominant male sexual hormones like testosterone will promote muscle growth and will prevent fat from being stored in certain locations.

However, if men have low testosterone levels, or high Estrogen levels, this can often result in fat being stored in the chest.

You see, estrogen is the female equivalent of testosterone and it causes a number of feminine side effects, including the growth of breast tissue.

Whilst the condition is only superficial, it can make life miserable for men up and down the globe.

How To Get Rid Of Gyno

Now that we’ve looked at what gynecomastia is, we’ll now look at a few ways in which you can treat and prevent gyno.

These include:

Avoid Aromatizing Steroids

We aren’t going to debate just how safe or dangerous steroids are in this article, but what we will do is talks about aromatizing steroids and why they are so risky.

Steroids which aromatize, will cause testosterone to convert into estrogen.

This increase in estrogen can then result in a number of feminine side effects, including gyno.

Some steroids aromatize less aggressive than others, and some do not aromatize at all, and therefore provide no estrogenic side effects in the slightest.

Always Run PCT After A Steroid Cycle

If you are running a steroid cycle, when you finish the cycle, you should always, always run Post Cycle Therapy, or PCT for short.

PCT is basically there to help prevent detrimental side effects like the aromatization of testosterone into estrogen, from occurring.

PCT can therefore help to prevent gyno, plus it can also help prevent numerous other side effects as well.

Nolvadex and Clomid, are both great options here, though which one you use will depend on which cycle you ran.

Milk Thistle should also always be used as it has such potent effects on the liver.

Lose Fat

Though man boobs are often caused by hormonal imbalances brought on by steroids, sometimes they can be caused by other factors.

You see, if you are overweight and are carrying around more fat than you should be, a great deal of fat could, and probably will be, stored on and around the chest.

So then, it of course makes sense that you should do all that you can to try and lose weight.

Ideally you should do so through a combination of diet and exercise, making sure not to lose weight too quickly, as this could cause skin on the chest to sag.

How to Get Rid of Gyno

Clean Up Your Diet

There are several reasons why you should clean up your diet, and one of course is to help you lose weight quicker.

Junk food is packed full of chemicals, unhealthy fats, and artificial ingredients that do the body no good at all.

Many processed foods have actually been found to increase estrogen levels in the human body, which again, will result in fat being stored on and around the breasts.

Instead, try to eat healthy foods packed full of vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants, as well as other nutrients that the body thrives upon.

Healthy proteins are also very important because they help promote the growth and repair of muscle tissue.

The more muscular your pectoral muscles are, the less flabby they will look, and the less susceptible to gyno they will be in the future.

Exercise More

In terms of how to get rid of gyno, becoming more physically active and getting more exercise is one of the most effective things you can do.

Not only should you perform more cardio to try to burn away more body fat, but you should also lift more weights and do more resistance work.

By lifting weights and incorporating resistance work into your training regime, you are helping to build and strengthen muscle tissue, which means you can build a bigger, harder, more muscular chest.

Try to incorporate plenty of chest exercises in there, with some popular examples being:

  • Bench press
  • Incline and decline bench presses
  • Push ups
  • Dumbbell flyes
  • Cable flyes
  • Pec deck

Surgery

In some extreme cases, usually ones brought on by anabolic steroid abuse, gyno cannot be removed via diet, exercise, or lifestyle changes alone.

Sometimes the only option is to go under the knife and to have gyno-removal surgery.

This procedure is similar to liposuction, as fatty deposits around the nipples are removed for good, helping to give the pecs a leaner, harder, more defined look.

Work On Your Posture

Though you may not realize it, in actual fact, one reason why you may be suffering with gyno could be down to poor posture.

Poor posture, I.E slouching of the shoulders, could make your man boobs look worse than they actually are.

Try to walk and sit with your shoulders pulled back, rather than hunched over and slouching all of the time.

When you do this, your chest will appear flatter and harder, and your moobs will become far less prominent.

It may sound bizarre, but it works similarly to how walking upright can prevent your belly from sticking out and looking bigger than it actually is.

Increase Your Testosterone Levels

This is more of a preventative measure than a treatment, but if you wish to get rid of gyno, it may be worth elevating your testosterone levels if you can.

Foods rich in protein and minerals like iron and zinc are great for boosting testosterone, as is weight training and taking testosterone boosting supplements such as Tribulus.

Getting plenty of sleep each night is also very important when it comes to testosterone levels.
