Anavar VS Winstrol: Everything You Need to Know

Bodybuilding is now more popular than ever, and generally the public appear to be far more accepting of bodybuilding and working out, than they were decades ago.

Bodybuilding, and working out in general, is hugely beneficial for a whole variety of reasons.

Not only does it help you to burn calories, build muscle, tone up, and increase your strength, it can also provide a real psychological boost as well.

Now, when talking about steroids, it’s pointless avoiding the huge elephant in the room, because at some point, somebody is going to mention the ‘S’ word.

Yes, in terms of bodybuilding, there is a certain stigma attached to the sport due to the use of steroids, but quite frankly, many naysayers out there who are quick to demonize steroids, actually have very little knowledge about what a steroid is.

The fact is, some bodybuilders and athletes out there are going to use anabolic steroids and hormones no matter what, so it is important that they do so safely, and know what they’re doing.

We aren’t here to debate on the safety and efficiency of steroids, instead, we’re here to look at them from an unbiased perspective.

Two hugely popular compounds used in bodybuilding are: anavar vs winstrol, so let’s look at, and compare the two to determine which, if any, is better.

What Is Winstrol?

Winstrol, or stanozolol as it is known scientifically, is most certainly one of the most sought after and highly used anabolic steroids in the entire world.

Winstrol, or, Winny, as it is sometimes known, was developed back in the 1950s by a company known as Winthrop laboratories.

One of the reasons why this steroid is considered so popular amongst bodybuilders and athletes, is because it is so effective at burning body fat and helping to tone up and enhance athletic performance.

In actual fact, due to its effectiveness, this steroid has been at the forefront of a number of highly publicised athletic steroid scandals over the years.

Winstrol is very similar to anavar, which we’ll be looking at shortly, although winstrol also enables users to build and retain more lean muscle mass whilst they’re on a cycle.

Most bodybuilders during their cutting phase, will use winstrol to help them burn fat and harden up, making it a staple ingredient in many contest prep cycles.

How Does It Work?

Another key benefit associated with winstrol is the fact that it enables the muscles to retain more nitrogen, which in turn helps stimulate and improve protein synthesis.

This also has a strengthening effect on the muscles, ligaments, and tendons.

Winstrol enhances free testosterone percentages within the body, making it very anabolic.

This can also act as a catalyst for other anabolic steroids, making them more potent and more effective.

For this reason, winstrol is almost always used as part of a stack, rather than individually.

Are There Any Side Effects?

Of course there are side effects, but one of the main reasons why so many beginners tend to use winstrol, is the fact that it offers far fewer side effects than other steroids.

Its androgenic side effects are very low.

This means that hair loss, acne, and other androgenic side effects are far less likely.

Winstrol is also not estrogenic, so it will not aromatize.

This is great news for people worried about some of the more sinister steroid side effects like gyno and extreme water retention.

PCT, however, is always recommended just to be on the safe side.

What Is Anavar?

We’ll now take a look at anavar.

Anavar, also known as oxandrolone, is another hugely popular steroid for cutting.

This oral steroid is popular for a number of reasons, including the fact that it is well tolerated by its users, making it more desirable and more highly sought after.

Men and women alike can easily use anavar with virtually no side effects and no dangers at all if used correctly.

Again, primarily it is used by people during their cutting phases, as it helps increase fat and weight loss.

Due to its safety, this steroid is actually classed as non-narcotic, and can sometimes be prescribed by doctors to treat conditions such as muscle wastage, osteoporosis, chronic infection, injury rehabilitation, and other forms of trauma.

Though effective, it certainly wouldn’t be very powerful if used by itself, which is why it is often stacked with other steroids.

How Does It Work?

Anavar, as mentioned, helps speed up fat and weight loss during a cut, though it also keeps the muscles looking bigger and fuller.

Because of this, bodybuilders that are worried about looking glycogen depleted, or flat, either on stage or during a photoshoot, will often make use of anavar.

Anavar helps to squeeze water from your body like there is no tomorrow, so for people looking for a clean, grainy, and dry look, anavar is ideal.

It allows the body to flush away water and toxins, leaving you looking full and dry.

Best of all however, is the fact that it does not touch the water located within the cells in your muscles, so your muscles look big and full, allowing you to retain much of the size that you worked so hard on building up.

This also helps users to retain their strength, so if, during a cut, you’re worried that your strength will decrease, anavar could work very well.

Are There Any Side Effects?

Again, yes.

With any steroid, and actually with virtually any drug (including prescription painkillers) there will always be side effects in some form or another.

Anavar is classed as one of the safest steroids in the world, due to the fact that its side effects are so few.

If used responsibly, many users will experience no side effects whatsoever.

It is not estrogenic, so gyno, water retention, etc., is not possible. It is also not especially androgenic, though some degrees of androgenic activity do remain.

One example, is accelerated hair loss.

If, for example, a user is genetically predisposed to baldness, I.E if baldness runs in their family, they could find their hair loss rates accelerated.

PCT in the form of Clomid or Nolvadex is still recommended.

Anavar VS Winstrol

Anavar VS Winstrol

Winstrol and Anavar are both steroids that are ideal for burning fat and retaining muscle, and they both work very well whilst cutting.

In terms of potency, however, winstrol is considered slightly more anabolic.

On the flip side of things, however, anavar is considered much safer, so if you are concerned about side effects, perhaps it is best to stick with anavar instead.

However, in terms of strength, anavar has been found to slightly edge out winstrol.

Cost is also worth considering, as generally, whilst both are cheap, anavar is slightly more expensive.

Where To Buy?

If you’re looking to purchase anabolic steroids, it’s vital that you do your research and that you always go with a supplier that is tried and tested.

Unfortunately, there are many fakes on the market nowadays, so when you purchase your stacks, you must go with a reputable supplier.

One of the most reputable online retailers currently on the scene, is Crazy bulk, so make sure you go check them out and take a look at some of the fantastic products that they currently have available.

Whether you’re looking to build muscle, burn fat, tone up, increase your strength, improve your recovery and endurance, or anything else, crazy bulks are most certainly worth a visit.
